Where opportunities come from
A tender tool is only worth what it can see. Most of them will not tell you what they miss. This page does, including the parts that are a real gap.
Two public feeds, read in full every six hours
Both are published by government under a licence that permits us to hold and re-use them. Nothing here is scraped from behind a login.
Every federal tender notice, plus the historical award file. Read in full, every six hours.
Every Québec public body — municipalities, health authorities, school boards, transport. Published weekly to a public standard.
Counts as at 24 August 2026. “Held” includes notices that have since closed; “open now” is the ones still accepting bids. Signed in, the same register shows live freshness per source.
Tenders from your own accounts
Paste in a notice you already have access to — from MERX, or anywhere else — and it is checked against your company, added to your deadline calendar and recorded in your bid history like any other.
It stays inside your company. It is never shown to another BidCaliper customer, never pooled, and never redistributed. There is a standing check that plants a decoy document in one company and fails if it can ever be reached from another.
The portals we are not allowed to read
Each of these was checked on 20 August 2026. They are findings about those portals on that date, not permanent facts, and they are re-checked rather than assumed.
The Province of Manitoba, Manitoba Infrastructure, and — since 1 March 2025 — every open City of Winnipeg bid opportunity.
Their terms of use forbid reproducing any of it. We hold none of it.
If you have a MERX account, you can paste a notice in yourself and it is checked like any other, inside your company only.
British Columbia's provincial tenders.
The site tells automated readers to stay out, in the file websites use to say so. We follow that.
Same as MERX — bring a notice in yourself.
Alberta's provincial tenders.
The same instruction to stay out, and the search interface refuses access without credentials we are not entitled to.
Same as MERX — bring a notice in yourself.
Winnipeg's own bid opportunities, on the right licence and with a rich schema.
It stopped publishing in 2023. The City moved everything to MERX on 1 March 2025.
Nothing to bring in — the dataset has no future deadlines in it at all.
Exactly what is in there right now

Federal notices cover work in every province, so a Manitoba job bought by a federal department does reach you. What is missing is provincial and municipal buying outside Québec.
There is no Manitoba feed, on any terms
Not because nobody built the connection — because the terms forbid it. That is worth knowing before you buy anything in this category, including this.
What works today is the federal feed, the whole of Québec, and anything you bring in yourself from a subscription you already hold. If that is not enough for your company, we would rather you found out here than after paying.
Not sure it covers your work?
Set your company up and look at what comes back. It is free, and it takes about three minutes.
