Each one walks through a part of BidCaliper on the same sample company, with the words on screen so it works with the sound off.
Every tender checked for your company, why each one is where it is, and what still needs you.
Your part of the tender, a draft bid priced item by item, and making it your estimate.

The tour, written down
- Introducing BidCaliper. BidCaliper finds the public work your company can actually win, tells you what each tender demands, prices it, and gets your bid out the door. Built in Manitoba, for trade contractors. Here is how it works.
- Every open tender, sorted for you. Every federal, Québec, Toronto and Yukon tender, read every six hours, and sorted three ways: clear to bid, worth a look, and ones you cannot bid. You see why each one is where it is.
- Can you bid it? Checked before you spend an hour. Your trade, the distance, your safety certificate, your bonding, the insurance and the deadlines, checked against what the tender actually says, with the sentence each answer came from.
- Projects before they are tendered. Early leads are development applications and building permits from city open data: the project, what it is worth, and who is building it, months before your part is tendered. Get in front of the builder early.
- Forward what you are sent. Your company gets its own email address. Forward a general contractor's invitation, or a notice from any tender site you use, and it becomes a tender here with its documents attached.
- Every requirement, with where it came from. Drop in the whole package. BidCaliper works out what each file is, reads every requirement and date out of it, and tracks what each addendum changes. The originals are kept, and open at the right page.
- Your part of a whole-building tender. On a building tender, BidCaliper sorts the specification into the sections that are yours, where you meet another trade, and the ones that are not in your price.
- A priced draft, from the tender itself. A draft bid prices your part item by item, from the tender's own documents and a published union wage or your own rates. Every estimate is marked as one. It is a starting point to check your price against.
- Your estimate, at your own costs. Bring the draft into your estimate, change any line, confirm each estimate, and see what the job pays you after your own overhead, burden and margin.
- Bring your takeoff as it is. Already use PlanSwift, QuoteSoft, On-Screen Takeoff or ConstructConnect Takeoff? Drop the export in as it comes, and your quantities are priced at your own rates.
- A quote letter, written for you. Write your quote to the general contractor straight from your estimate: the price, the alternates, what is included and what is not. Download it as Word and send it.
- The bid package, and a record of every decision. Before you submit, the bid package shows what goes in front of the buyer and what is still missing. And every bid and no-bid is kept, with who decided and why.
- Find it. Qualify it. Price it. Send it.. That is BidCaliper. Start free, bring in a tender you are working on today, and see what it finds.
